About me: Hey, My name is Annie Mao and I am currently a senior at UW. I am from Sammamish, WA and I went to Skyline High School for any Spartans out there. I did the IB Diploma, so if you have any questions about IB credit, I can answer them. During the Summer of 2016, I studied abroad in Rome with Interdisciplinary Honors Program. I highly encourage everyone to study abroad because it is an eye-opening experience (+ great way to get HONORS credit). I love studying in cafes, so I can recommend all the good study places on the Ave, Capitol Hill, and Downtown. It took me a long time and process to find an academic and career path that I would enjoy. I considered many majors, but then I took an Intro to Programming course and loved it. I decided to drop Bioengineering to pursue a major in Computer Science. I recently decided to take a 5th year to double major in Neurobiology with a certificate in Computational Neuroscience.
