Year at UW: Second

Hometown: Vashon Island

About me: I am a prospective Mechanical Engineering major with interests that range from Applied Mathematics, to Physics, to music theory. Outside of classes, I am a member of the 3D printing club and the sailing club. I also enjoy cooking, climbing, running, and rowing (also alliterations). I frequently relax in the honors room to take a break from the daily hustle and bustle. A question that keeps me up at night is the singular nature of personal needs, but the compound nature of personal wants. I particularly ponder how these intersect and how I can live my life both efficiently and happily. This leads into things I could build to make more use of what I have, or make living less wasteful in general.
