Year at UW: Third

Hometown: Pullman, WA

About me: Hey there! My name is Maekara, and I'm a third-year Honors student majoring in Political Science. What I love about the Honors program is truly in what it continues to promote: interdisciplinary study. Besides being challenged and learning things I never thought I would know, I'm surrounded by amazingly brilliant peers who continue to inspire me. I love going to games, attending plays and concerts, and exploring Seattle! It's been an exciting whirlwind so far, and I'd love to answer any questions you might have about UW and the Honors Program in general!
