Year at UW: Third

Hometown: Bainbridge Island

About me: Hello! I am Katherine Merifield -- a junior double majoring in Mathematics and Community, Environment, and Planning. In the future I hope to work to further conservation efforts and build more sustainable communities. I have had a widespread experience at UW and through the honors program, from participating in the Undergraduate Research Symposium to tutoring at the Math Study Center and taking a class while hiking in the Olympic Mountains. Being a part of the Honors community and taking Honors classes has given me many opportunities to further pursue my academic and professional goals -- and I would love to answer any questions about Honors or UW in general!
