Year at UW: Second

Hometown: Ferndale, WA

About me: Hey there! I'm Kyanna and I am a sophomore here at UW studying physiology in the hopes of earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy some day. I'm also hoping to minor in Disability Studies. I grew up in Ferndale, WA, which is pretty much almost in Canada, so I am just about as PNW as it gets! Here at UW I am involved as an Honors Community Ambassador and I am on the service committee for the LDS Student Association. I love chocolate, taking naps, struggling through a workout at the IMA, and talking about human anatomy and physiology(I spent four years working with athletes in a sports medicine setting.) I'm also a total perfectionist and I understand the stresses of college on an intimate level so if you need someone who will empathize with that, you've found the right person. I love the Honors Program here and I'd love to share some of the amazing experiences I have had so far! If you have any questions, especially about Honors or where to find the best chocolate to drown your sorrows in, please contact me!
