Year at UW: Third

Hometown: Seattle

About me: Hi all! My name is Meghan, I am a third-year student in the Interdisciplinary Honors program and I am a Public Health- Global Health major. I grew up in South Seattle and have been active in the PNW landscape my entire life, whether it be skiing, hiking or climbing. I am also a part of the Climbing Team at UW, so if you have any questions about getting involved in active groups on campus and getting outdoors without a car, let me know! The honors program has been an amazing community and exploratory experience, whether it be living in the honors LLC my first year, or exploring potential majors. I considered seven majors before landing on Public Health, which the interdisciplinary classes of the honors program helped me reach -- if you have doubts about what you want to do, you're not alone! I also studied abroad through the honors program to Harare, Zimbabwe last summer, so if you have any questions about applying for study abroad opportunities or are just curious about it, I may be able to help!
