Year at UW: Third

Hometown: Palo Alto, CA

About me: Hi! My name is Neta, I'm a third-year student in the Interdisciplinary Honors Program and am majoring in Microbiology. The Honors Program has shaped my experience at UW from living in the Honors LLC, community events, exploring different majors or courses, and just finding my way around campus! I spent Autumn 2018 studying abroad in Tel Aviv and am happy to answer any questions about study abroad and how it fits into your life and course load! I'm passionate about health and currently work in a research lab at Seattle Children's, although I have also worked at UW research labs. Outside of school I love spending time outdoors, exploring coffee shops, practicing yoga, running, and spending time with friends. Feel free to contact me with questions about the biology/microbiology majors, pre-health track, balancing school and work, transitioning from California to Seattle, or anything else!
