Year at UW: First

Hometown: Mercer Island, WA

About me: In the Spring of my senior year of high school when I was deciding between UW and another university, hearing from Honors Peer Mentors about why they loved Interdisciplinary Honors made me feel confident in my decision to attend UW. I hope to do the same for prospective Honors students because the strong sense of community and the unique, interdisciplinary topics of the small Honors courses have enriched my college experience. Outside of Honors, I study Political Science and History with the goal of becoming a public defender or public policy expert. When I'm not studying, I love to spontaneously tackle ambitious cooking/baking projects with friends, listen to podcasts, and run. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about Honors, UW, internships, or want to talk about our shared interests!
