Year at UW: Third

Hometown: Lynnwood, WA

About me: Hey Huskies! My name is Kleitia and I am a third year student pursuing a degree in Public Health-Global Health! The honors program has really shaped my UW experience and helped me explore many fields of study. I have been commuting since I started at the UW, and am happy to help anyone navigate that process. My passions are in public health and health equity, leading me to be involved in many health related experiential learning activities. Currently, I am involved in research in local homeless communities, and I am a member of GlobeMed. Recently, I was accepted into the honors study abroad program in the Netherlands, and into departmental honors for my major. I am very excited to get started on these programs, and would love to answer any questions about what these application processes are like. Overall, I am a big proponent of taking time during your undergraduate experience to explore the many options that you have available to you (both in and outside of the classroom) and would love to talk to you all about how to maximize your time here at UW and in the honors program.
