Year at UW: First

Hometown: Puyallup, WA

About me: Hello everyone! I am a first-year student from Puyallup, WA intending on majoring in Medical Lab Science with plans on pursuing medical school or researching in cancer/disease prevention and treatment, especially those in the developing regions in the world. Here on campus, I am involved in as an Honors Community Ambassador and DAWGMA, a synthetic biology research group in the Klavins Lab. During my free time, I love to dance, explore nature (especially here in Washington), drink coffee, and try new foods. The Honors program here has been an amazing experience for the past year, whether that be taking small Honors classes, living in the Honors LLC, or making events for students in the program. I can offer you some great insights about joining the Honors Program and life in Seattle and at UW! If you have any questions about UW, living on campus, doing research, finding scholarships, and others, feel free to email me!
