Using Your “Windows and Mirrors” for Reflection

Using Your “Windows and Mirrors” for Reflection

Thursday, April 15th from 3:30-4:30 p.m: RSVP HERE for the Zoom link

Are you intentional about the courses, experiences, and perspectives you engage with? For effective personal growth and reflection, it is important to engage with your own identity and beliefs, as well as those of others. A mirror is something that reflects your own culture or beliefs and contributes to your sense of identity. A window, on the other hand, offers insight into a perspective or experience that you cannot relate to. Engagement with both windows and mirrors is crucial to a well-rounded, interdisciplinary education.

Join Honors Adviser, Nadra Fredj, on Thursday, April 15th from 3:30-4:30 p.m., to reflect on the perspectives you’ve encountered so far, what’s left out, and reflection strategies for expanding your view throughout your undergraduate career and beyond.
