Proudest Moment: My proudest moment at UW was when a professor that I greatly respect told me that a paper I had been working on was good enough that I should try to have it published.

I am a non-traditional student. On top of being a transfer student, I am married and a father. I love to read and am devoted to playing and watching soccer. At this stage of my life, I could never have graduated if it hadn't been for the patience and support of my family. I was lucky that my partner has always been willing to take time away from her garden (her happy place) to read my papers and our daughter has been interested in the classes I have taken and books I have read.
