Portals to portfolios in Honors Suite

by Shannon Hong

The Interdisciplinary Honors Portfolio is a web-based collection of artifacts and reflective annotations that students curate over the course of their undergraduate experience. On March 8 and 9, (mostly) graduating seniors in HONORS 496 synthesized classes and experiences at the UW (and beyond) at our first in-person portfolio presentations since 2019.

From left to right: Portfolio artists Lillian Williamson, Sadie Van den Bogaerde, Shannon Hong and Anna Finch. Click their names to access their portfolios!

To extend the magic of these stories beyond the presentation events, we’re excited to be featuring student photos in a new exhibit in the Honors Suite (Mary Gates 211)! Scan each QR code next to one of the framed posters and you’ll be able to browse a variety of Honors portfolios. This can lend inspiration to current students and offers a fun glimpse into the wide range of reflections and experiences from our community of lifelong learners.

The Honors Suite is a great place for students to hang out between classes, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. M-Th, during spring quarter. We hope to add new portfolio artifacts each quarter to continue building onto this exhibit! Sneak peak at the images, below:
