Ken Srinakarin in UAA News

Departmental Honors (Psychology) Kavin “Ken” Srinakarin models interdisciplinary, collaborative, creative thinking across many areas of the University of Washington.

Born and raised in Thailand, Ken Srinakarin was inspired to pursue psychology because of the stigma he saw associated with the discourse surrounding mental health.

During his time at UW, he has embraced the the width and breadth of opportunities available to him and curated them to his own interests and goals. From performing in UW Drama projects, to presenting his research at the 27th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium, to co-founding a mentorship program that creates support for students from underrepresented backgrounds, Ken has built communities that will foster his learning as he goes into his post-bac journey.
