Bonderman Travel Fellowship
The Bonderman Travel Fellowship application is now available for the 2015 cycle!
Where would you go if you had eight months to travel solo? Which countries would you visit? How would you get there? Where would you stay? How would you be transformed?
This extraordinary opportunity for travel, discovery, and challenge is made possible by the generous donation of Mr. David Bonderman. It offers University of Washington graduate/professional and undergraduate students (from the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell campuses) an opportunity to engage in independent exploration and travel abroad.
Up to seven graduate and seven undergraduate Bonderman Fellowships will be awarded in Spring 2015. Each Fellowship carries a $20,000 award to be used only for extended solo international travel. Fellows may not conduct research, pursue an academic project, or participate in a formal program or organization.
More information about the fellowship, eligibility criteria, information sessions, and the application can be found at: bonderman.uw.edu
Applications must be submitted by 12:00 pm (noon) January 12, 2015.
