University of Washington Honors Program

The Honors Program Advisory Council is a faculty and staff body that represents the University Honors Program to campus communities and stakeholders; promotes the program to their respective units and networks; and contributes strategic expertise and diverse perspectives to advise on programmatic planning and assessment. Faculty members also evaluate and approve minor changes to Departmental Honors programs and support the annual construction of the Interdisciplinary Honors curriculum. 

The Honors Program director chairs the council, and Honors Program staff are ex officio members. The director invites faculty and staff from across the UW Seattle campus to join the council based on demonstrated commitment to the Honors Program and ability to bring unique expertise and insights that align with the Honors Program’s mission and values.
