2009 Bonderman Fellows Announced
The 2009 Bonderman Travel Fellowship awardees have been announced! Students traveling with this $20,000 fellowship set off on journeys that are at least eight months long and take them to at least two regions of the world. While traveling, students may not pursue academic study, projects, or research. Established in 1995, this fellowship aims to expose students to the intrinsic, often life-changing, benefits of international travel. UW graduate students, undergraduate students in the Honors Program and in UW Tacoma's Global Honors Program are eligible to apply.
This year's undergraduate awardees are:
- Evan Easton-Calabria - Germanics; Human Rights
- Sara Drescher - Biology; Public Health
- Joshua Johnson - Social Welfare; Anthropology
- Martina Kartman - Law, Society and Justice; Women Studies; Human Rights and Diversity Studies
- Samuel Sudar - English, Philosophy, Neurobiology
