UW Honors Students Selected for Global Honors College Seminar on Sustainability
Three UW Honors students have been selected to participate in the planning of a Global Honors College consisting of faculty and students from Eight Asian and American universities: University of Washington, Columbia, Harvard, Korea, National University of Singapore, Peking, Waseda, and Yale. The program will take the form of an undergraduate research seminar and be offered formally as a summer course of Waseda University in Tokyo.
The three representatives from the University of Washington are:
- Jasmine Zheng - International Studies; Community and Environmental Planning
- Joshua Hatfield - Civil Engineering; Biology
- Reemah Medina International Studies; Comparative Literature
Professor Mary P. Callahan (Jackson School of International Studies), a past Honors instructor, will join these students as a faculty representative.
