About me: Hi everyone! My name is Jana, and I'm a second year studying political science. I am a proud first-generation college student, and my experiences growing up have driven my passion for advocacy and social justice. I am particularly interested in issues relating to education equity, disability justice, and human rights. I am a current Honors 100 Peer Facilitator and have appreciated the kind and curious community that I have gained through honors. I'm currently working on my departmental honors project on the role of surveillance states in political violence. I am also a big fan of food and love exploring new cafes and restaurants! Please feel free to talk to me about classes, departmental honors, research, and internships!
