About me: Hi all! My name is Samten, and I am a Tibetan American majoring in English. I am part of the English Departmental Honors, and I am excited and happy to share my experiences within the English Department! I am currently involved in independent research on a project that is centered around Tibetan oral histories and literature, which looks at how art and community are able to create a dialogue and conversation with the literature itself. I am also involved as a member of the committee for UW Marxists, as a Technical Director for UW Stage Notes, and as a previous Stage Manager for a UW Drama capstone. I am also a barista and student coordinator at the Husky Grind! Please feel free to ask any questions!
