Melike Yucel-Koc is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she teaches courses in Turkish language & culture as well as Introduction to the Near East Course. She also has academic experience as a graduate teaching assistant at Portland State University and a graduate research assistant at Seattle Pacific University.
