Here in Honors I… am responsible for the oversight and management of program operations (office and administrative coordination, purchasing and budget tracking, hiring, compliance, etc.), events production, and program communications, as well as providing executive support to the directors.

I like thinking about and studying… Scottish history and culture; identity and belonging; the effects of diaspora and societal change on culture; witchcraft trials; ethnobotany and folk medicine; regional cuisines; and crows.

My first week in college… was the first time I experienced seasonal allergies—and they hit so hard! Despite that, I also discovered that universities are amazing environments to explore anything you have ever been curious about. That first week, I attended many different types of events, signed up for lots of student groups, and met some fantastic people that I am still friends with today.
