Admissions Notifications

Autumn Notification Window

When & how will I know if I’ve been admitted to UW Honors via first-year (UW freshman) admissions?

UW Honors Program admissions is separate from UW Admissions. Honors will review your application only if you are admitted to the UW. If admitted to UW you will receive a separate decision email from the Honors Program between March 15 and April 15.

*For 2024: Scholarship offers will be sent separately from our offer of admissions to the Honors Program, due to the delay in access to FAFSA information. Please do not contact us inquiring about scholarships, all Honors applicants are considered.

To make sure you receive your UW Honors Program first-year admissions decision email in a timely manner, please:

  • Check your email during the notification window.
  • UW Honors uses the email address in listed in your UW application as our primary method of contact, including our decision letters and scholarship offers.
  • If you set up a UW NetID and an “” address, it will take priority. If you set up an “” email, please make sure you are checking it and/or have set up email forwarding.
  • If you set up a UW NetID and an “” email and can no longer remember how to access it, please follow the instructions here.
  • If you have not received any confirmation emails, please check your spam/trash folders first, then contact us here.

Thank you again for applying, and we wish you the best in the college application season.
