Haley Chee
In Honors since: 2022
Hometown: Wahiawa, HI
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
About me: HI! My name is Haley and I am a biochemistry major, with minors in bioethics and chemistry. As a STEM major, I love that the Honors Program has allowed me to explore my other interests, like Japanese culture (HONORS 212 A: Modern Japan Through Cinema). I have lived in the Honors Living Learning Community in Terry Hall and served on Terry's Hall Council. I took the Honors General Chemistry series (CHEM 145, 155, 165) and many other Honors classes, so feel free to ask me about that! I was involved in research through the Department of Chemistry, and now have a position at Seattle Children's. You can often find me in the Husky Union Building, where I serve as the Services and Activities Fee Committee Chair, allocating over $40 million to campus services. I also have multiple years of experience with student government (ask me about the Associated Students of the University of Washington Student Senate!). In my free time, I love reading, baking, and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Feel free to reach out!
