Proudest Moment: My proudest moment was working with student-inmates at the Monroe Correctional Complex where we worked on creating a sustainable prison-based college program.

I am excited and proud to announce that soon I will be graduating from the UW with a double major in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice. Coming from a family of Mexican immigrants, this journey stands as a testimony to the strength, perseverance, and resilience of my community. This moment could not have been possible without the support of my mother (Yadira), grandparents (Emma & Abel), my boyfriend (Mitch), and all the incredible friendships I have made over the last four years. I plan on continuing my education at UCLA School of Law where I hope to keep fighting for marginalized communities.
