Proudest Moment: Getting a chickadee to land on my hand in Grieg Garden.
Hello everyone! I'm Conor, a psychology graduate with an interest in autism research. I've spent my time at UW working at two disability offices--Bellevue College's Neurodiversity Navigators and UW's Disability Resources for Students. I'm proud to have helped students with accommodations and academic resources and I plan on using my future research and academic experiences to examine accessibility barriers, particularly in mental health resources. I've also had the pleasure of volunteering at UW's Research in Autism and the Brain Lab, where I developed my research skills and worked with a team of amazing researchers to conduct novel research on rare genetic groups. I hope to continue developing my research skills upon graduation through lab work before pursuing a PhD in clinical or cognitive psychology.
Outside of school, I have a passion for all things art--especially writing, digital art, and film--and spend a large chunk of my non-work time drawing or typing up short stories. I also enjoy feeding birds around campus, exploring the city, and hiking, especially with friends.
