Proudest Moment: One of my proudest moments was when my photography was put on display in the Allen Library as part of the Portraits for Change exhibit. The photo project compared images of poverty in Seattle from throughout past decades to contemporary photos that I took myself.

I'm an aspiring aerospace engineer that's passionate about advancing spacefaring technology. I want to develop next generation space propulsion systems that can enable humanity to navigate and explore the cosmos more effectively. Nothing amazes me more than the marvels of our physical world and the perplexing nature of our planet and place in the universe. I hope to pursue a graduate degree in space engineering and conduct research that pushes technological boundaries. I'd love to one day be strapped to a rocket headed into orbit to do research.

My favorite pasttimes are mountaineering and cycling, but I really enjoy all things adventurous and physically demanding. I am preparing for a ~1600 mile thru-hike of a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail spanning from NorCal to Canada that will be my most intense adventure to date! I also play the drums and some guitar and love speaking Spanish whenever I get the chance.
