Proudest Moment: My proudest moment is when I got into the Foster School of Business with one single try! I know there are so many talented people out there so it felt even more special knowing how strong my competitors are. I really appreciate the opportunity which introduced me to the Foster community and taught me so much throughout the years =)
Thesis: "How Does the COVID-19 Affect the Market of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)?" / "Emergence of Self-Indexing in the ETF Market"
I am so incredibly humbled and honored to be graduating as an honor student in the finance major. Throughout my years at the UW, I am so grateful to work with so many amazing researchers, scholars, professors and collegues. Being alongside so many insanely talented people has really taught me to never stop challenging yourself while to always remain humble because there's simply so much to learn from everyone out there.
Academically and career-wise, I mainly focus my studies around financial asset management and pricings. I did two of my research topics alongside two proficient professors and experienced researches surrounding topics on the Exchange-Traded-Funds markets. My passion in finance is to utilize the knowledge as an efficient tool to help companies make more well-rounded decisions and help consumers make wiser choices. I aim to always analyze problems in a multi-faceted fashion therefore I look forward to working with so many different people with different perspectives after graduation.
I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate everyone who has been in my life so far. Special thanks to Professor Zeng and Professor Song for aiding and guiding me through my research. Thank you to my great parents who supported me and gave me the uttermost understanding throughout my four years in college.
