Thesis: Designed to Fail: The Impact of Correctional Education on PIC-Driven Recidivism

My passions are equity and progress at all intersections of our society, specifically through legal and political reform; so, I've kept busy by advocating for DEI in higher education, health-focused drug policy, expanded access to civic engagement, and agricultural laborers' rights through different on- and off-campus experiences.
And still, the best part of my UW experience was all of you! I learned more from my peers than from any (over-priced) assigned textbook, and I'm indescribably grateful for the many mentors who only expected the best from me. I only hope the time spent serving my communities amounts to a fraction of the love, support, and encouragement shown to me by faculty, staff, friends, and family as I work to pursue pathways to justice.
