Proudest Moment: I had the opportunity to be a TA for Accounting 215, the introductory financial accounting course. As a TA I was able to inspire interest, and hype up the fundamentals of accounting to students, while also mentoring students beyond the classroom to chase their goals at UW and in life!
Thesis: How Macroeconomic Events Shape Venture Capitalist's Investments
Hi, my name is Madisen Mead and I graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. I am passionate about international business and world travel, and have studied abroad in Barcelona and Ireland, and completed the Foster Certificate of International Studies in Business (CISB) program and minored in Spanish.
My research in to the impact of world events on venture capitalist's investments, further inspired my interest in the growing Seattle startup and venture capital space!
I am excited to start at Deloitte in their audit practice in the Fall, and am a huge husky football and basketball fan- go dawgs!
