Marium Raza

Proudest Moment: Being honored with the Sedlock Icon Award and the Mary Gates Research Scholarship the same day, for my research with the Gordon lab.

​Hi, my name is Marium Raza, and I'm graduating with degrees in biochemistry and comparative history of ideas. I consider myself part scientist, part innovator, and part social justice advocate. I have spent the past four years researching in a biophysics lab, building my organization Elixir to support undocumented immigrants, and volunteering with University District Street Medicine. You can find me sipping a cup of chai or a London Fog most mornings, and I love trying out new restaurants. I also love spending time with my family, travelling, and watching movies. ​After graduating, I'll be moving to the East Coast to attend Harvard Medical School.
