Proudest Moment: Stepping out of my comfort zone and completing the honors program in the Department of History

Thesis: Syngman Rhee, The April Revolution and American Foreign Policy in South Korea

During my time at UW, I took the time to explore subject areas which I had not previously considered studying. I also had the opportunity to study abroad twice and participate in other great programs like the C21 Externship program, all of which have provided me with amazing memories and experiences. It's hard to believe that after graduating high school with the intention of pursuing a STEM or music performance degree, I will soon be completing my undergraduate degree with honors in history. The honors program gave me incredible practice in research which I plan to improve upon in graduate school after a couple years of continued exploration and learning on my own.
