Proudest Moment: When my PI said my work should be the "gold standard" for undergraduate research.
In the beginning, I was really unsure of whether engineering was right for me. However, after I started my research, I learned that passion is something you develop for a project you work hard at and believe in. It's not just something you find out of the blue. UW has been the perfect place for me to develop my scientific passions and to develop personally as an independent adult. I'm so excited to continue this development as I work toward my PhD at the University of Cambridge.
