Taylor Bastian

Proudest Moment: One of my proudest moments is when I presented my honors portfolio. I was surrounded by peers, friends, and family, and I was able to look back on all the challenges and successes I've had over the years!

Taylor studied Biology with Interdisciplinary Honors, and will be graduating Cum Laude. She sang with the University Chorale during her time at UW and with the University of Washington Chamber singers during her senior year; Taylor also spent much of her time interacting with students in the Honors program as a resident advisor and ARD in the LLC. She loves baking, being outdoors, and her many houseplants. Taylor is excited to work in ecological research next year and pursue a PhD the following year. She hopes to someday be a professor so that she can continue her love of learning and science while helping future students to succeed!
