Students Present Research to the U.N.

At the end of May, four Honors students will join Megan McCloskey and other undergraduates to present their research with DIDI to the United Nations. DIDI is the Disability Inclusive Development Initiative at UW and is where the students have been researching the conditions of refugees with disabilities and the institutions they have to navigate in countries such as Germany, Uganda and Colombia. Two of the Honors students, Taylor Arredondo and Alexandra Crooks-Moreno, shared their experiences with DIDI and the work they have done over the school years in this video. Read this article to learn more about the impact their work will have and Zak Osborn’s thoughts on his own research.
