Alumni Designs Student Internship Guide

Wintana Eyob is a UW Honors alumni who graduated with a B.S. in Informatics with Interdisciplinary Honors. With a passion for social impact, education, tech and business, Wintana has put her skills to use to develop a startup that encourages students to achieve their academic, professional and wellness goals. The startup is called No Brainer and is dedicated to empowering individuals through innovative educational and career development solutions.
No Brainer offers a diverse array of free and low cost digital products tailored to high school students, college students and early career professionals. One of the other sources that No Brainer offers is an organization tool called Class Track. This free tool is designed to help students seamlessly manage a dense curriculum and juggle various responsibilities.

More recently, No Brainer is developing an internship guide that will help college students to design their own internship. This guide will inform students on how to design a self-directed internship that would last ten weeks and help college students to expand their network and develop essential career skills that are tailored to their unique goals after graduation.
In a world that is only getting more competitive for recent graduates entering the workforce, a tool to design their own internship that not only fits the students’ schedule but also their passions is a game changer. Not only will this allow students to expand their network and advertisable skills, but it will also help to introduce the student to their field of study and foster initiative within the student as they find out how to design, structure and follow through with their own internship.
