Incoming Interdisciplinary Honors Students

A number of scholarship awards are available to incoming UW students accepted to the Interdisciplinary Honors pathway – a complete list is available at our Incoming Interdisciplinary Honors Scholarships page. No application is necessary for these – students are evaluated for scholarship consideration as we make our admissions decisions.

The Honors Program administers a number of scholarships for current Interdisciplinary and/or Departmental Honors students, typically applied for and awarded during the Spring quarter. You must be a student in good standing with the Honors Program to be eligible for these awards.

Husky Promise Program for Washington Residents

The University of Washington believes that students from all economic backgrounds should have the opportunity to attend the University of Washington. Finances should not be a barrier to getting an education. With the Husky Promise program the UW promises to cover the cost of tuition for students who otherwise could not afford to attend.

Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards

The Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards (OMSFA) provides University of Washington students with information about many of the local and national merit-based scholarships, fellowships, and grants, including the Bonderman Fellowship, Rhodes Scholarships, Marshall Scholarships, Fulbright Grants, and the Mary Gates Endowment Grant Program. They help to prepare UW students to compete for nationally competitive, merit-based scholarships and awards, and to find specific opportunities for each student.

Washington State Space Grant for Entering Freshmen

Washington NASA State Space Grant Consortium offers educational and research programs related to NASA’s missions on Earth and in space. They also serve as a NASA point of contact for Washington residents. Space Grant programs include college and university scholarships, graduate fellowships, research opportunities, courses, teaching resources, public events and more through a network of affiliate institutions around Washington state.
